"Breakaway" Hong Kong Tour 2009

Dear Vox Brilliance
All of you must have heard about the most exciting event to take place in the entire history of the Choir, the very opportunity that all your seniors in the past could only dream of.....
Yes! The Choir is going to fly out of the little red dot called Singapore! To the Pearl of the Orient!
Dubbed the "Breakaway" HK Tour, this will be the Choir's first international appearance. Not to be missed!
We have talked about this so for so long and it's finally happening. It's the reward for the hard work the Choir put in to achieve our very first Silver at SYF '09. We deserve this!
Tentative highlights of the "Breakaway" Tour include:
1. Tour around the beautiful City that Never Sleeps!
2. Exchange with a School or Regional Youth choir - performance with HK students
3. Disneyland - full day! Perform there too!!!
4. Shopping and Makan time!
5. 4-star hotel accomodation!
6. Most meals provided!
This trip is heavily subsidized by the school. How much do you have to pay then?
We are still waiting for the exact costs to be calculated by the travel agent. The estimate given is $200 - 400 after the subsidy. Where else can you find such a super good deal?!!!
I will continue to update you as I get more info. In the meantime, be very sweet and talk to your parents nicely. If that doesn't work, plead, coax, beg, bargain, threaten or whatever that works! Dig out your piggy bank and your dusty bankbook and start counting your assets!

Dear VOX BRILLIANCE,
Don't forget to visit our blog as often as possible.. Any ideas on how to make our blog interesting? Please be open and tell the committee members.. we will try our best..haha
Anyway, we won't have any choir sesion until EOY. So, i will miss singing and having fun in choir sesion with u all. haha. I just wanna say, good luck with ur EOY exam, study hard and be confident.
By the way, I like the 'mini concert'.. it was very nice.. i hope we can have another one. Choir, as u know, we have to work together to progress to the next level,so i do hope that u all can cooperate with mr lim and put all ur best effort to sing. Just be confident when u sing. haha. it doesn't matter if u sing the wrong note, mr lim will correct for u, and i think sing the wrong note is much better than standing,mumbbling and do nothing..i am saying this coz i saw people doing this...
Okay, i think i talk too much already. dont forget to think about any ideas for our blog.
